Nampak Corrugated provides dairy with one-way of looking at packaging differently

Traditionally, the dairy industry has used limited packaging alternatives for shipping its products to market – the choices being a plain corrugated box, a shrink-wrapped tray or most likely a plastic crate. However, tradition has not stopped Nampak Corrugated, a division of Africa’s largest packaging supplier Nampak, from developing packaging technology that challenges the norm. As such, one of Nampak Corrugated’s latest product offerings is an innovative portfolio of specialised one-way dairy packaging aptly named one-way dairy.
In its simplest description, one-way dairy consists of folded corrugated trays with divisional inserts, and is a viable alternative to costly plastic trays or crates. Some of the benefits of Nampak’s one-way dairy solutions are:
- No need for return pickups, as is currently the case with plastic trays and crates.
- Flexibility to have a shipper and display unit in one as one-way dairy packaging is shelf-ready.
- Added strength for product protection and stacking.
- High-end graphics to promote brands.
- Solutions for both small and large volumes with hand erected, semi machine erected or OTOR hi tray options.
- Reduced warehouse space requirement for packaging material.
- Available in a large range - from 6 to 24 cluster packs - and recyclable.
